crazy potato @sunway pyramid

who doesn't love potatoes. i'm like an avid potato lover. i love kfcs mashed potatoes, i love mcds mcshaker fries, i love curly fries, i love potato salads, i really do love potatoes. so i mean how could i not try crazy potatoes right. thing about this place, is that it is located right next to the cinema, so when the que to the concession stand gets too long, well i normally just get my movie snack from crazy potatoes. yes i am a believer of having something to munch on whenever you go for a movie, i mean it brings the whole experience to a whole different level. so take my word, if you happened to be in a long que wanting to buy popcorn, visit crazy potato instead.

obviously this ain't a diet-friendly kind of food. their signature is of course fries, topped with a whole number of sauces to your selection from the likes of wasabi mayo, to sour cream, to honey mustard, to a pure meat sauce. my standard order is always the honey mustard but that's because i'm a dead sucker for honey mustard. the other thing i would vouch for is the squid crunch. so these 2 items are always my must order when i visit.

the fries are good but i can never finish the whole thing. like i would only have roughly 3 quarters of it and then i'd ahve to give up. the sauce gets a little too much by then. my advice would be to share. one cup is about 8 smtg bucks.

these amazing crunchy squid bites. deep fried to perfection, are just heavenly. this, i would recommend to not share. i don't really recall how many pieces they have in a cup, but, i know its never enough to satisfy me. i'd be like what, aww man, u mean it's finished? one cup is about 10 bucks.

definitely a must try, this place. absolutely love this place, especially the squid, which even now, at this point, blogging about this, i miss the squid crunches. maybe i'll drop by next week.

might not be updating very super often. am keeping tabs on what i'm eating at the moment, trying to get back into shape. have a few events coming up.

having heard about this new dessert place, it was a must try for me. and since i'm a choco molten lava lover, when i saw this on their menu, it was an absolute i'm going to order this for me-choco maquise cake. it was baked to perfection, with the oozing chocolate when you cut right through the cake. the chocolate was not bad, but the ice-cream was terrible. the ice-cream was too icey, making it a little weird. overall, not bad, but, i still prefer chillis version of molten lava cake, i have yet to find a better version. and trust me, i've laboured and sacrificed alot in my attempt to find the best choco molten lava cake. alot of pounds gained, and i certainly do not mean the sterling pound.

i quite liked their menu, lots of choices, but, was disappointed bcuz when it came to ordering, they told us that a couple of best sellers were not available. their best sellers comprises of course their chocolate marquis cake and some kind of coconut pudding which was not available. they also have durian sago and things like that. here's a little insight into their menu. just click.

it was an okay dessert. i wasn't disappointed by the cake, just the ice cream. but, its not some place i'd go back to again. i'd much rather head to kei dak sek for desserts if i happened to be in that area.

choco marquise cake with choc chip n cream ice cream.
ice cream was placed on a crumb of oreos
the hot choco liquid oozing out
