i was feeling fish and chips so i ordered their black pepper tempura fish and chips. at first i thought that the dish looked rather mundane and the chips looked well, not yummy at all, but it was not bad. i would have preferred larger slices of fish but that is because i'm quite a bigeater. the fries were not bad as well. but the fish and chips lacked the black pepper punch. i would call it fish n chips but not black pepper fish n chips. what i envisioned in my mind was fish and chips topped with a rich black pepper sauce.
its quite a decent place for lunch. the beers are a tad bid expensive, pricing at 29 bucks for a pint during non happy hour and 21 bucks a pint during happy hour.
overall, not a bad place to have a bite if u were lurking/working around the area. the pizzas are not bad as well. from a stonetop, it looked and smelt amazing. i dont have a pic, but i had the 4 cheese pizza with extra cheese, and that was super cheesiliicious. very very yummy. menu is great, having a wide variety, from pizza to pasta, to poultry to fish, to asian food.
